We are Kathy and Joe Riley, and are fortunate enough to be the founders of Joe Mama' LLC. We both have been in the hospitality industry our entire careers, enjoy food and both have a great desire to give something back to others. We both share and believe in our common purpose which inspires us to create and provide our products while contributing to the core needs of others.
We are native Minnesotan's and lived here all our lives. This is a great state and we want to be sure to take the time to enjoy all it has to offer and leaving it as good or better than we found it for you to enjoy and all the generations to come.

We started from the ground up blending real, original and authentic ingredients. We create BBQ- cooking and dipping sauces, seasoning blends, rubs and marinades for the cooking beginner, enthusiast and professional.
Our brand of products can provide relief and happiness to the many that are overwhelmed by the myriad of seasonings on the market and may not have or trust their ability to mix flavors or determine mixing options.
Our goal aligns with our common purpose- 'to inspire, encourage and entice people to discover the joy of flavoring and seasoning “simplified” using our creative product blends.'
My culinary passion and lifelong enjoyment of the culinary arts first began as a 6th grader. My first creation was a cake made from scratch with no recipe- A Total Bomb!!!!
My mom inspired me at that moment by gently saying- “Oh son....Its wonderful, but do you think its missing something?"

When that happened a switch was turned on to the curiosity, science and creativity of food which has been the core driver and influencer of my life beginning my artistic approach to the culinary arts and my culinary career.

I had been Working over the years on perfecting my sauce recipes when my daughter asked me to make the BBQ sauces for her graduation reception and a few years later her wedding reception. I was honored and soon realized that this was going to be something bigger than just a project after we received very positive feedback from family, friends and guests.
We began to do some blind taste test with family and friends sampling against some of the top brands in BBQ Sauces. Joe Mama’ Consistently Ranked #1 and #2.
A few years later we are now craft artisans making small batch BBQ sauces and seasoning blends, packaging, and selling our products to the public.
We are thankful to have family and friends who have been very supportive and encouraged us along the way.
