Today, without ringing out a sound, this bell that you see on our packaging represents the memories made when family and friends gather together- like our Mom intended it to do;
A time to enjoy food, family and friends, to reenergize, share stories and make memories together. That is important!! And here at Joe Mama’ ‘we believe it’- Good Food is Fun!

When it was dinner time all 5 of us kids were bust across the neighborhood and countryside.
My Mom needed a way of calling all of us home to eat. She found it!!! Mom would step outside and ring this cowbell. Yes, you could hear it ringing for a long, long, long way! We would all rush home for our family dinner, we never had a good excuse for ignoring it.
Our Mom passed away in 2015. We didn know that she had saved this bell for all these years
After she was gone we found the bell and on it was written the names of all her children.
Inscribed on it was the following words- “With this bell I summon my children home for dinner”
Now, we are carrying on the hope that every meal brings family, friends and communities together to create great lifelong memories.
